  • NOUN
  • What is noun ( noun kya hai ) ?

    Noun indicates the name of a person, things, place, community, animals etc.(  kisi prani, byakti,wastu, shtan athva bhav ko noun ya sangya kehte hain).
    Example: jaise 1) Lucknow is the capital of Uttar Pradesh. ( Uttar Pradesh ki rajdhani Lucknow hai).
    2) Mahima sings a song ( Mahima geet gati hai )
    3) Ganga is a sacred river ( Ganga ek pavitra nadi hai ).
    4) Tiger is the national animal ( Bagh ko rashtriya pashu kaha jata hai).
    Yeah 4 example me Lucknow  aur Uttar Pradesh ek jagah ka name, Mahima ek ladki ka name, Ganga ek nadi ka name aur Tiger ek prani ka name darshate hai. To en sabko hum noun yani sangya kehte hai.

  • Classification of Noun

    There are five types of Noun.

    They are 1) Proper noun ( Vyaktiwachak sangya )
    2) Common noun ( Jatiwachak sangya )
    3) Abstarct noun ( Bhavwachak sangya )
    4) Collective noun ( Samuhwachak sangya )
    5) Compound noun ( Yaugik sangya )

  • 1.        Proper noun :

    Proper noun denotes specified name of things, place or person ( kisi visesh vastu, vyakti ya shthan ka bodh karanewale shabd byaktiwachak sangya kehlate hai )
    Example: a. Ram and Shiva are doing their homework.
    1. Ganga river originates from Himalaya.
    2. Chandigarh is the capital city of Punjab.
    Here the name Ram , shiva, Ganga, Himalaya, Chandigarh and Punjab are all denotes specification of names ( yaha ram, shiva, ganga,Himalaya ,Chandigarh aur Punjab kisi byakti  aur shthan ka nam darshate hain )

  • 2. Common noun :

    It denotes the non specific of people, places and things ( kisi ek hi jati ke sabhi pranio, vastuo, shthano ka bodh karanewale shabd jatiwachak sangya kehlate hain)
    Example : India is our motherland .
    she is the first girl of our class.
    There are lots of stories in my text book.
    Here India, motherland, first girl, class, stories, text book are all example of common noun ( yaha India, motherland, first girl, class, stories aur text book jatiwachak sangya ka bodh darshate hain)

  • 3. Abstract noun :

    It denote happiness, anger, love, sympathy, kindness etc of a living things are called abstract noun ( kisi jiwit byakti ebam pashu ke guun, dosh, pyar, samvedna ke vab ka bodh karena wale shabd vabwachak sangya kehlate hain )
    Example : a . Spread love, don’t hatred.
    Show the sympathy to the poor .
    Mother is symbol of love, care and happiness.
    Here the expression love, hatred, sympathy, care denotes abstract noun ( yaha love, hatred, sympathy, care and happiness jo mehsus kar sakte hain usko  abstract noun kehlate hain )

    4.Collective noun :

    It denotes a group of people, places and things ( jo shabd kisi samuh ya samuday ka bodh karwate hain, unhe samuhwachak sangya kehte hain )
    Example : a. A herd of sheep
    1. A colony of ants.
    2. A bunch of flowers
    here herd, colony,bunch denote the example of collective noun ( yaha herd , colony ebam bunch collective noun ka bodh karwate hain)

  • 5. Compound noun :

    It is a combination of two or more than two words complete a word called compound noun ( do shabd ya do se adhik shabd jor ke jo shabd banta hain usiko compound noun ya yaugik sangya kehte hain )
    Example: a . we are playing in the school- ground.
    1. Sir is writing in the blackboard.
    2. She is my grandmother.
    In this example school ground, blackboard and grandmother are the words of combination of two words ( yaha school ground, blackboard aur grandmother do shabd se bane hue se words hain. Isko yaugik sangya kehte hain)
